Quick help

I don’t see “Share to fyby” on LinkedIn

Confirm the extension is enabled in Chrome and has permission to run on LinkedIn, then refresh the LinkedIn tab. Supported feed posts and job listings should show the button. Some layouts or reposts may not be recognized; send us the public post link if this persists.

The website says my extension isn’t detected

Refresh the website after installing or reloading the extension, then choose “Check again.” Detection requires the latest extension built for the website you are visiting. An extension for localhost will not connect to the production site, and vice versa. Check Chrome’s site-access setting as well.

Do I need to wait after sharing?

Once fyby confirms receipt, you can keep scrolling. Open the fyby extension’s “Your shares” panel to check the result. Reading image attachments can take longer.

My opportunity wasn’t shared

Read the reason beneath its status in “Your shares.” A post may not announce an open job, may have incomplete information or unsupported media, or processing may have failed. Non-job posts are not published. If processing failed, contact support with the submission ID and source link.

Which attachments are supported?

fyby processes up to the first three detected JPEG, PNG or WebP images. PDFs, video and audio are not automatically processed. If asked for more details, provide the full hiring announcement before sharing.

A listing is incorrect or no longer available

Use the flag at the top right of its job card to report it. For correction or removal requests, you can also email support with the original post link. Always verify the details on the original source before applying.

How do I request deletion of my information?

Email support with the original post link or submission ID. Removing the extension clears its local history but does not delete server submissions. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

What to include in your message

Tell us what you expected, what happened, your Chrome version, and the public post link or submission ID if available. A screenshot can help. Never include API keys, sharing tokens, passwords or private LinkedIn messages.
